Looks like I will have the edited proof for my next novel in my hands tomorrow, if the little parasite growing inside my editor cooperates. So, Super Bowl sunday will likely be a hell day for me as I get the final proofs in order and format the manuscript for the Kindle. Why do I choose to do this again? For the money? Hahahaahha… don’t make me snarf my OJ. For the fame? Um… chances are, you are the only person reading this, or I’m talking to myself.
Work on Babylon continues, but it’s going slower than I had hoped. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I need to alter my writing strategy. I’m thinking at least a little work each day. I’m the type of writer who likes a big chunk of time, but those chunks don’t seem to be materializing these days. I’ll figure it out.
Left Green Bay last night. I love the town (the people were all so nice, especially the girls at the Tilted Kilt). Leaving the airport is quick and easy (I’m always the only person in the security checkpoint… no, really). My client was awesome. But, I could do without this shit:
